This was the first of the S125V knives that I finished and used. This knife has been used in the shop, house, kitchen, yard, and field.
It has cut, sliced, carved, and chopped everything from raw and cooked meat and veggies, paper, carpet, trimmed handle and liner material, leather, as well as carving and chopping woods from 2x4's, Basswood, to well seasoned Ash. At 63+ Rc I am extremely pleased with how it has held up. Edge holding and edge stability are superb and the aggressiveness at which it cuts is like nothing else I have used. I have sharpened this with a 24 degree inclusive bevel with a small micro bevel. Edge thickness is .017" behind the 24 degree bevel.
Be aware that there are scratches and wear marks on the handle, blade, and sheath as well as some staining.
