This one CUTS great, I did a convex edge on this blade, S30v and it push cuts extremely easy with the new profile on the edge bevels, at the price of the black finish being a little scratched up but for that you get extra performance from the blade.

closeup of some of the scratches from convexing but the edge is mirror polished and very very sharp;

Here is a shot of the lock bar, this is an integral lock with the patented torsion bar, it is a Special run for Chesepeake Knife stores only with the premium S30v steel, you can also see just how smooth the transistion is at the very edge in this shot...

I would Trade for a David Boye Cobalt folder, plain edged
or put this towards a small wood inlay classic Sebenza

Email with any offers;

Don't do it Gary! You know if this one goes away and you can't replace it, you'll be despondent within a few months!! Just hide it in a closet for a while! the Random Leek is one of the closest-to-perfect production EDCs ever made, you've said so yourself!

Ah the sweet sound of logic! Thanks friend, I do believe you are right, it has about every thing perfect on it, I was trying to sell it outright due to needing funds for this up coming weekend but my Gold membership ran out here.

And the other option was getting another David Boye Cobalt folder, I have to admit something about the Boye folders, nothing I've ever owned has cut as well as they do, which is saying a lot for me as I've had the gamut of steels and blades.
See David Boye's site Here

SO, with this Sage advice, I'll withdraw my offer of trading this knife and set this aside!

Thanks sir,
G2
