Two weeks ago, one day before going on vacation I got in the mail my new knife from Taz. He made me a similar D2 knife a few months ago but it got lost on the way and. He was very kind and made me a S30V replacement for no charge. Here is a pic:

I took it with me and carried it for two weeks to see how it works. I like this knife. It got used quite a lot to cut stuff like thin rope for packing things, paper, cardboard and plastic. It cuts very good for it's 2" blade and it's still razor sharp. I did not clean the knife and two weeks of neck carry did not affect the steel at all. I my case an ATS34 knife get's the first rust spots in less than 1 week of neck carry and skin contact. S30V is clearly more rust resistant.
The fit and finish on the knife are good and the kydex sheath fits OK, it doesn't even scratch the blade. I got a good knfe for the money!

Flavius - you big guy- you have something for small blades...LOL

nice review - but compare it to the REAL review of the Hossom below...

Gadi you know what they say about big blades ... ;)
I am still shocked by what you did to your Millenium Bowie ... how many days did you cry after breaking it?

1200 CC Motorcycle...Considered one of the fastest on earth

9" Hossom blades...

.45 Gun - with 14 rounds in the magazine...

If I wouldn't know better - I'd say there is a trend there...

Glad you enjoy it Flava! That S30V is a great steel. I made a large, 8" blade kitchen knife with it and it is awesome!!!
