All these people arguing about the Sebenza got me thinking, what other production Ti Framelocks with S30V blades are currently being made. I know of the following:

Benchmade 630, and 635
Camillus Dominator
Spyderco Ti ATR

The firetac is another Framelock that uses this steel.

I guess cliff will come up with something against Firetac soon.
He will prove that the Manix is stronger

The Strider PT, SnG, and SMF are production framelocks with S30V blades.

Relax, who really cares if it's stronger?! The Firetac is a good looking knife. Do you really want to hard use a pretty knife like that one?

I'm not sure what your obsession is with Cliff, but it seems most unhealthy.

It was Chris Reeves who helped in the development of s30v by the way and was the first to use it.

IRRELEVANT!!!!!!

Calm down buddy and learn to live with the fact some people don't like the same knives as you do.

actually the ti ATR is a compression lock, not a frame lock FWIW.....
That is correct, but I think Timmy was thinking at knives with the lock cut out of the handles, therefore a "loophole" for the ATR. ;)

What about a hardened stainless Sebenza frame lock? Wouldn't that be sweet? Has anyone made any stainless frame locks besides CRKT with the big Serengeti Hunter. Seems to me stainless would hold up better than the softer titanium. I wish CR offered both so you could chose.

I wonder how much heavier a stainless version of the Sebenza in the same thickness steel would really be over the current ti models? Surely it couldn't be that much different in weight. The one thing that drives me nuts about the liner and frame locks in ti is how the softer ti can wear or bend in where the titanium lock meets the steel blade and then the lock gets loose.

I have a couple of old side lockers I used to love carrying but don't anymore just because the locks got loose on them from the lock wearing this way. One of these days I'll pull them apart and rebuild the locks.

Here is a saying I use all the time.

"A knife unused, is a knife abused!"
