s35vn tempering question

From most of the reading I have done most people like to temper s35vn at two cycles of 400 for two hours each cycle for a hardness of around 60-61. What are your thoughts?

Crucible shows a range from 400-750. I was just curious if anyone preferred to use the higher range for tempering and why?

The temper target is picked depending on use and desired hardness. For a knife blade that will be a slicer, 400F for an hour or two twice will get a Rc 60-61 blade.
