S5 LE for BOSS Street

I really like the BASIC series handle. Love the Res-C in it. Have yet to truly pass the indifference stage with a mudder handle. I'm past hate to indifference.

BOSS has a boss handle. I'd like it a little bit more neutrally balanced, but I'll live to get that danged black paper handle. :)
 
Well when the satin and B/P are released I might get one and remove the grips and taper the spine....need to ask for the use of a knife workshop and find the S/S tube fastners....if the hassle factor does'nt disuade me....it is a great shape and size but I find small handle heavy knives want to slide out the back of your hand when doing carcass work on Deer which are hanging....or if reaching up to trim branches on Deer Stands....or if working on building a hide....it depends on how bad the balance is....the BATAC LE felt very much like that....YMMV....
 
I did not mean to imply that the Boss proto felt bad in the hand. It had a great heft and feel. I don't remember the thickness but I think it was .22 or so. Just a much heftier knife.

If I could have either it would be a tough choice. the satin S5 seemed light a real slicer. I do love fatties.........but after getting some hands on with skinnies I am really digging them.

Hey - we are all different. I've STILL yet to order a BWM. Might just pare down to my SHBM and be done with it all. (That and I'm considering funding a watch - which cuts into my INFI buying. LOL)

How funny! I also won't be getting a BWM, and also am down to my SHBM and FBMLE. If I could only have one, it would be my SHBM, but I'd sure miss the FBMLE.

Ok, we now return you to our originally scheduled program. ;)
