S5 LE & Sar 5 comparison pics / opinions?

Wow Guys! older thread, Thanks so much for the info and the pics

I picked up a S5-se INFI at the Easten show in PA a while back and it immediately became my "go to" user for most everything. It really is so much blade for its size/weight.

I've seen the Boss Jack pics and it looks about the same size as a Ratmandu (sorry i forgot who posted pics, but thanks for them). If it becomes a general release I will get one as well.

Keep up the Awesome

Mike

The Boss Jack is actually available for purchase directly from Busse right now on the www.bussecombat.com website.

Great price too.

It feels great in the hand as well.

I do really like the feel of the S5 as well. Really light knife for the size adn blade length.

Thanks for the heads up. I think that's the Boss Street... the Boss Jack should be a little bigger.

I just received this SAR 5 from forum member "Banana Clip" (thanks again) and it came stripped. I then took a belt sander to the top and bottom of the handle to sort of copy the shape of my spyderco Bushcraft UK (best fitting knife I've held) and this is the final results. I really like this knife even more now! RokJok is correct as the SAR 5 and Scrapper 5 are similar in appearance the SAR5 is a lot more weight and heft. I really like the overall feel of the Scrapper 5 and it's light weight, but I think there might be a little more utility in the SAR 5. I like the no choil, exposed tang and the full height flat grind of the SAR 5. Buy both!

If anybody could provide some pics and stats about the Boss Jack, I'd appreciate it.
Additionally, what's the difference between the S5LE and the S5SE ???

pics are floating around of the boss jack, i may be able to dig some out. it looks great.

the INFI LE and the SE are the same except the SE's are not numbered.

Well I have gorilla hands, so I don't have the handle issue or weight issue. The only issue that I had with SAR 5 was the shity edge out of the box!
So yesterday I convexed, 'm happy knocking of the bevels and polishing the edge, I really wanted to get scary sharp & I did.
