Like you didn't know I would hold at least one S60V Blur back.:D

So a S60V Blur is up for grabs with this one people, so don't miss out!

Rules:
*You have to have posted at least 10 times in the Kershaw Sub-Forum
*No Internationals, although I'll let Canada go on this one.
*1 guess each
*Don't screw up, and don't pick the same number as the poster in front of you.
*Have to have your guess in prior to race time

Contest: I'm intrigued with the Marathon, so...The Olympic Marathon trials for the women is taking place early tomorrow morning in Boston, what I want to know is what will be the winning time? Closest guess to that winning time wins.

I need hour, minute and seconds on your guess.
Example: 1 hour 45 minutes and 22 seconds = 1:45:22

Follow your guess with an improvement/addition you would like to see on our website. If you forget this part, you're eliminated from the contest.

Ready, Set, GO!!!

WOW WOW WOW!
2 hours 28 minutes 48 seconds.

As for your website, how about a picture gallery of artistic photos that really highlight the knives? Maybe have a rotating selection of "photos of the month" that are taken by the different forum members?

Supposed to be cool in Boston tomorrow. Just have to wait and see. Either way I'd be lucky to run it in 10 days nevermind less than half a day!

Wow! Tough contest!

Larger views of the knives, as well as photos of the clip side and close ups of key features.

Thanks for keeping the S60V blur back!

Ok, 2 hours 12 minutes 40 seconds.

On the website: better pictures 3D or multi angle pics, website updated more often. A list or a link to of all the sprint runs so that we at least know whats out there; what are the special limited run knives currently available so we can ask the retailers for that special version. And more info on the knife specs. And last but not least maybe some fun facts, who designed it how did the design come about, orjust a comment about the knife from the designer or the person who crafted it, ie a kershaw person.

Thanks Thomas for the contest, these make this a fun forum.:)

Make the search by Horizontal instead of vertical and on the subcategory level include a sample picture of the knives below the location. You have almost NO images until you are 3-4 layers deep. Most people only get 1-3 pages deep on a website before they begin to lose interest. No pictures = boredom.

Add Tim to the designers. It has been needed for sometime now. He does have some of the best knives after Ken.

I think the Kershaw website is quite good, Thomas; really like the 360 degree view thing. Only improvement that comes to mind is maybe a more advanced product/features search, kind of like what Benchmade has.

Thanks as always for the opportunity!

I would like to see an archive. At the very least, it would be nice to have pictures available of current sprint/limited runs with their specs. You guys do so many variations that it can be hard to keep track of what is/was available.

2 hours 32 minutes and 21 seconds.

I would like to see a downloadable .pdf catalog right on the front page for easy access. I would also like to see a larger high quality photo of one of the knives "featured" on the front page. This could change with each page load, but it would be a nice way to show of new knives that some might not know exist when they hit the site!

EDIT - Spydercos web site actually does exactly what I was talking about with the featured knife thing, and it changes like I was talking about too! This seems to be new for them also.

2 hours 27 minutes and 27 seconds!

I would really love to see more quality pictures of the knife models. for example, instead of just one picture for the model search, maybe show them in different views, I also think better pictures would attract more people.

thanks!

i think that the kershaw site should have more images of the knives, maybe a feature like the ZT0301 page. last time i checked you could have a 360 view of the knife. it would be cool to have for all models.

if not that, a place for customer video reviews :D

thanks for the contest boss :D

Pictures of prototypes, even if they never get made.

OL, I swear I was typing when you made your guess! Incredibly I wanted 2:21:30 (birth dates) but it was already taken so I just flipped the two.

I'm not going to run some statistical analysis and calculate the best odds, but rather I'm gonna stick with dumb luck. :)

And Thomas, thank you for the contest. If I win, I'm gonna use it. I don't care how much it may be worth - and I'm sure it is quite a bit.

With that said, it ain't gonna be no beater knife neither.

2:22:22 lol, pretty damn close to what others have said.

Changes to the website? How about I come up with some quotes, you put them on there, and pay me royalties?

For serious though, I think really that all knife sites lack enough pictures. I do like how Benchmade often has 2 of the same knife in the picture so that you can see both sides and different anglees. Something to remedy that might be cool... how about customer action shots? People can submit their own pictures of the knives!

...Thanks for another opportunity to maybe win one from you Thomas...:p...LMBO...Lord knows I loves those Blurs...I'll go with 2 hours 24 minutes and 55 seconds.
As to the website..I guess I'd love to see a listing, with pictures, of the "boutique runs" that you've done with some of the great knives you guys produce. This would show the unique imagination that Kershaw keeps cultivating.

I would like thumbnail imaged pages to choose different models.
I cannot stand the drop-down pick out the name menu.

Thanks for the chance, once again.
