S60V Blur Givaway

2 hours 19 minutes and 9 seconds

i would like to see an archive of out of production models added to the website.

Thanks for the contest Thomas

OL, I swear I was typing when you made your guess! Incredibly I wanted 2:21:30 (birth dates) but it was already taken so I just flipped the two.
Tell you what ... if I should happen to win (fat chance, I know) and the actual time is within 10 seconds of 2:21:30, the S60V Blur is yours! You just have to promise to open birthday gifts with it for years to come. :D

I haven't won any giveaways, so whoever gets this one must give it to me immediately to dispose of properly :D

Ok, how 'bout 2:23:47?

More color, more life, more advanced stuff--add the 360 to as many knives as possible.

Thanks Thomas!

Thanks for the contest (and letting Canadians enter.) My guess is 2:22:22.
Thanks

Sorry man, I've already guessed that one :D (first page) also you need to say what you think should be changed about the website, otherwise your entry isn't valid!!

2:18:30 by Deena - and here's hoping Desiree Ficker qualifies!

on the website, i would like to be able to see all the results for my search on one page - not have to flip through three pages to get there.

Thanks!

2:27:20(or nearest available, don't think it's taken though) don't watch it but it sounds like a good guess

hmm., maybe a 360 degree view of the knives, open and closed pics maybe, or pics with the knives and something in the background to get an idea of the relative size of the knife

2:16:32
I would like to have the ability to compare two different knives side by side in order to ascertain relative size and design. I would also like to be able to rotate them in synch. This would help immensely with those of us who have specific handle needs, and dimension needs in general.

I'll play ... 2:19:12 Thanks for the opportunity.

As for the website I'd like to see the catalog updated to include sprint runs as well as Kershaws of the past. So us knife fanatics have a useful Kershaw reference for knife specs.

2:26:14

I'd like to see the website improved in that everytime I log onto the website, Kershaw sends a new knife to me free of charge.:D.:D.

2:23:03

I'd like to see the site updated with better photos, more details of existing production knives along with more photos, and a summary of upcoming releases and estimated dates.

Thanks Thomas, and since I was one of the Lucky 10 Club, should I win, I'll do another contest for the knife!

The 10 post rule is also in effect....and you need to be 18. ;)
3wolves, today just wasn't your day for a contest.

Stick around here though, this is a great sub-forum to be a part of.

I think when you click on "designers" and it shows Ken Onion, Lance Barber...Lee Williams, perhaps next to their name there should be an example (or two) of their work, where you can enlarge into a different window. It would make it easier for first-timers to determine which designer suits their design preference the best. Also, i think the site needs better pictures. Perhaps ones that show the knives in real-life environment. A soldier using a ZT on the fields, a fireman using a Rescue Blur, or maybe a ZT positioned next to a Police Vest, etc...

Edit: Love the embossed knives on the cover of the 2007 Kershaw Catalog!

How about 2:14:14.

On the web site, first the obvious; bring the current info up to date. Some knives that are already released still say, "Material information not available for this product."

Second, a single page with thumbnails would be preferable to a text-only pull down.

Third, the previously-mentioned idea about an archive of older, out of production knives would be very helpful.

As always, thanks, Thomas, for this chance and contest!

2:30:31

Real pictures of knives and not whit background product shots. Picture in a hand and a couple of angle with one of the lockup would be nice.

2:30:27

I would like to see this forum have small articles written up by the Kershaw employees. Example: Plant manager. What his job entails on a typical day. Same thing from Thomas W.

Perhaps someone could write an article about the Steels Kershaw, Kai, and Shun are now using, and talk about their strengths and weaknesses, comparisons with other steels etc. ( no costs, HT info etc. Nothing that is considered proprietary information).
