I really wish I didn't have to sell this one, but over the 9 months that it was gone getting a custom s90v blade I found that I much prefer a 3" blade max. So here it is for sale, my lose is your gain!

It was made by Reese Weiland and he did a full flat grind just like the original blade with the same style jimping and used the exact same thumbstud.

I am including the original washers, stop pin and ZDP-189 blade, all you would need is a thumbstud and you could swap the blades back and forth. The orignal zdp blade was unsharpened by Reese and will be shipped unsharpened.

I put a scary sharp edge on the s90v blade with my edge pro, which easily slices toilet paper. I used it for about 1 and a half days at work to strip large mcm wires and reaming pvc conduit which I consider a medium to moderate use of a knife. The edge still slices TP! I am very confidant in saying that if you only lightly use this s90v blade that you will probably never have to sharpen it ever again.

I wanted Reese to put a stonewahsed finish on the blade, but he said that it was just too hard to get a decent finish on it, so he put a stain finish on it which still looks very classy.

He said that it Rockwell'd at 61-62.

Before I sent it in, I modified the pocket clip by adding a slight ramp to the underside and countersunk the screws to allow for easier sliding in and out of my pocket and put a small beadblast on it to get rid of the shinyness.

The blade opens very smoothly and closes very smoothly also, locks up solid, and the blade is very slightly off centered as you can see in the pictures.

SPECS:
