S90V Military - As good as it gets

Great pics Jim.
The S90V Millie is a pure beauty !

And I'm always amazed about the mirror finish you got on your S90V edges.

I was not able yet to obtain such great results with white coumpound and leather....

What is your secret process for a mirror finish a such an special alloy ?
Japanese water stones ?

cheers
Nemo:)

I use the Edge Pro Apex (Water Stones 120-1200) then use the 2000 and 6000 grit tapes. After that I use Mothers Mag Polish to finish it all off.

Great pics Jim as usual.
I don't like the spyderco look, the 'squideye' gets me I guess, but that is a nice looking blade for sure

That's alright. A lot of people don't get it when looking at the design. The trick to it is when you hold it in your hand and start using it. That is the point at which things become clearer and then people start to understand.

You mean on the entire blade, right - not on the edge? Looks good, especially that 3rd pic down where the blade looks like its been polished.

Like I've said before, you have nice toys.

this pic showcases one of my favorite things about the Military, and why I like most good Wharncliffes as well. It puts the tip farther down than most traditional designs, making it much easier to use for piercing tasks.

Compared to knives that are just straight along handle to edge, like a sebenza.

I use it on the 6000 grit tape too. :)
