I finally got my tracking number today from my online dealer (thought shipping was taking a little too long) turns out what was going to be my grail, was "delivered" on the 29th, but I never saw it :(, don't know if somebody took it off the porch or it was the sketchy roommate down the hall, now I'm scrambling to try to find another somehow, will call the pawn shops around here tomorrow. (pre-ordered mine in July). I want to hit something!

I freaking can't stand thieves!!!! May they all burn in hell!!

+eleventy billion.

I had something stolen from me and before then I didn't fully appreciate how much it affects people when something is stolen. I felt violated in a way that I couldn't describe. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.

I hope somehow the universe makes this right for you ( or God, if you believe like me). Sorry it happened though.

Thats cold. Even worse whoever took it will think its the same as some 10 dollar cheapo probably and just leave it around...

Are you sure the tracking number your "dealer" gave you was actually your knife?

What was the delivery service? A few years ago I was expecting a delivery through UPS, and when the tracking showed that it had been delivered, I raised a big fuss with UPS. A couple days later they said that it had been found at an address on another street.

If it was indeed stolen, that sucks.

if it doesn't turn up. just have someone ship you a box full of angry hornets, and have it delivered around the same time and day of the week. See if the thief falls for that one.

I like this idea!

Sorry about the knife, hopefully there'll be something USPS can do.

if the package was insured the dealer you bought it from can file a claim and send you a brand new knife.

Yes, a knife that expensive should have been delivered insured, or signature confirmation or something. It should not have been left on a doorstep and that is not your fault, unless you specifically requested that it be left.

The way I look at it this is not your problem to worry about and deal with. Either USPS left it without signature, when they shouldn't have, or the dealer sent it in a poor manner. The thief is bad, but not the reason it was stolen. Had this been sent and or delivered properly, the thief would have had no opportunity.

Stand up for your rights!

USPS sucks. I have had the worst luck with them. Everything from damaged packages, delivered to wrong address, and even packages left in the postal carriers car (rural area, they use their own cars to deliver the mail).

Sorry to hear about your experience. If the postal service in your area is anything like mine you are probably out of luck.

Oh man, that sucks. I agree.... bring it up with your dealer. Hopefully they got insurance on it.

For a while now, I've had anything valuable delivered to my office. They only deliver at the office during business hours (won't leave anything at the door).

Really sorry to hear this. I had both USPS and UPS mishandle my knives in the past. Contact your dealer, at least get your money back. I understand money is not the knife, but at least something. That sucks.

that blows:grumpy:, i ordered a double sided santa fe delica that went "missing" with UPS, luckily that has been the only one out of 300 knives that made it. i hope you can find a replacement.
