Leather Sewing/Repair Kit--LOADED Saami Inspired
This sewing kit was inspired by the Saami people but instead of reindeer antler, I have chosen to use wet formed veg tan leather hand stitched with synthetic sinew for a rustic look. It features two replaceable cork stoppers with a decorative toggle to keep contents secure.
Overall dimensions are 3 1/4" tall with an inside diameter of 3/4" (big enough to comfortably house most all repair needles, thread, etc.
This kit includes:
#14 Sail Needle 2 3/4" (high quality English made)--also works great as an awl or splinter picker
2 Heavy Duty stitching needles
2 Safety Pins
5 ft White heavy duty waxed nylon thread (canvas and leather)
5 ft Brown heavy duty waxed nylon thread (canvas and leather)
1 Mini utility razor blade
**UPDATE** I am now including 5ft. of synthetic sinew in place of the dental floss as I feel it is more universal
