Saber Ash1 fotoshoot

great

question:

that angle of sharpening are you using?

1000 2000 grit and compound?
the wire acts as a mirror on the wood?
bye

That is absolutely stunning! I would love to mod my CG ASH just like that. Any ideas on who might do such a thing?

That looks sweet! I bet it would handle great as well.

I would really like to know what it weighs?

Here are some answers to questions:

This knife used to be my HOGAsh1 so it was kind of special to begin with. But I really didn't like the brown color of the coating and wanted to give it a special treatment.

I do sharpen my knives with the Edgepro apex and give them a polished edge.
All edge maintenance is done on a Spyderco Sharpmaker, that's why I keep my edges (on Busse's) just under 40 degrees inclusive.

The weight of my saber Ash1 is now 520 grams (approx 1.15 lbs).

Thanks again everybody for your kind replies. I love this knife and this forum and especially it's members:thumbup:
