Sabre vs False Edge (Swedge)

Funny update, these blades are now released and the Sabre's are going moving 6-4 over the swedge! Just thought you might want a real time update :)

Hot damn those look good! One day when I get the funds I think I'm gonna make one of those my first EDC fixed blade. Glad to hear they are moving well. I eyeball em every time I browse bladehq. Keep up the good work 👍

I have to say, I like them both. I like the swedge maybe 1 millionth of a percent better.

Does anybody have some size comparison pics to common folders? Or a size comparison between a Guardian 3 and Guardian 4?

Both..thanks!

Brad has some good shots of both on Instagram (bradfordusa) and someone tagged him with the 3 & 4 together.
here is my 3 with my 3.5" F3. I have XL hands and it is a 3.5 finger grip for me. The 3 is definitely on the small side of fixed blades but it has tons of cutting edge.

My Guardian3 came today and this is a nice little knife. Very nice grip using the finger choil and super sharp. The only thing I would change would be it having a slightly larger lanyard hole to allow 2 strands of 550 paracord to fit through

Here is a pic of the knife with some folder comparisons. The length is almost identical to a Mini Griptillian or small CRK Sebenza although the the blade and cutting edge of the Guardian is larger than either. And it's slightly smaller than a 3" Hinderer XM-18.

I am sure there will be a Guardian 4 somewhere in my future!

Ordered a Guardian 3 a few days ago, went for the swedge (aesthetics), liked the 4 as well, but wanted m390, allready have knives in S30V and N690 :)

I like the swedge in a small fixed blade, but sabre on larger blades for batoning and the like.

If anyone is on the fence about buying one of Brad's knives, they are a fantastic value and perform very well. I've purchased the Guardian, the Orwell, and the Gatsby - satisfaction all around.

New friend in CO tested the batoning ability immediately, even in 19 degree weather!

Thanks for all your feedback on this design! Very grateful for your input and support!
