I *just* got this one, but unfortunately something has come up of a higher priority and warrants this sale.
Sacha Thiel custom PPT Light. (The PPT model is the basis for the Spyderco production folder.)
Features a 3 1/4" hand satin finished RWL-34 blade, frame lock side is blasted and chamfered Ti with a deep carry Ti tip-up clip, the other side is carbon fiber with a pair of horizontal grooves milled in. CF back spacer. Closed length is just under 4 1/4", open is just under 7 1/2". Thickness is approx. 5/16" and it weighs about 3.5 oz., so it's a very slim and light carry.
To say this is one well made and put together folder would be a massive understatement. The fit and finish on this thing is incredible. Nice little details abound, and it conveys a feeling of real precision throughout. Without question one of the nicest customs I've ever handled.
Polished and rounded blade spine, polished and rounded choil, beefy stop pin, polished screws, belt finished blade swedge. Handle edges are all chamfered smooth and fit together tightly.
The lock-up is rock solid without a whiff of play, the action is buttery smooth, and the blade is dead centered.
I tried to do justice to the knife in the pics; please excuse any lint or smudges on the knife. It's very much in like new condition without any visible defects.
Pics can be seen HERE
Need to sell so pricing it at $425. PayPal preferred but absolutely no "eChecks". Includes shipping via USPS Priority in the U.S. Willing to ship elsewhere, but at buyer's expense of actual shipping cost. Not after trades at this time.
Drop me a note if you're interested, e-mail always works best.
Thanks-
Scott
