I have a recently acquired Sacha Thiel Officer (v1 I believe). I am not the original owner. It is a user and has been sharpened. I recently touched it up on my EdgePro. It has light scratches on the blade and Ti frame from carry and use. It is also rock solid with no play and well centered. I disassembled it upon receipt, cleaned and lubed the pivot and reassembled it with a little blue loctite once I had it centered and the pivot tension dialed in for no play while still 'flickable'. So, if you're looking for a Thiel safe queen...wrong thread. If you want one that is solid for EDC use, you're in the right place.
I was on the fence about keeping or trading this (yes, I buy, sell and trade impulsively) because they are not the most common or easiest folder to come by. I've also had one before and knew of the excellent build quality. However, I have become so conditioned to autos and flippers, that frame lock folders just aren't doing it for me anymore. I thought my son was going to take this with him to basic training, but he decided to grab one of my autos instead (probably a good choice, under the circumstances). So, I would like to replace the auto void left in my rotation.
Protech is at the top of my wish list (SNG, PT, TR2, TR3, TR4, Rockeye, Whiskers)
Microtech is a close second (LUDT, UT, UTX85)
Benchmade and others would be a distant third.
Light users are fine, if not abused. Generally speaking, cosmetics are of little concern to me. Mechanical soundness is. Feel free to make other offers, but please don't be offended if I hold out for something on my wish list. +/- cash is fine by me, depending on the trade.
