So I'm at the garage dropping off my truck today and my 4 year old son says, "Look Dad, that's just like the thing in your workshop!" Sure enough, he's pointing at a small, but really nice anvil on the floor right next to the desk. After trying to play it cool for a minute I had to ask, "So what are your plans for that anvil?" The guy says that a customer had it in his truck and was bringing it to the scrap yard, so he paid him $10 for it!!! The worst part is that this mechanic has no specific use for it, he just wants a nice anvil. I was just about sick after hearing that story. All the anvil hunting that we do, and some guys have all the luck! I might just trade him my POS truck for that anvil straight up!
