Sad, Dark Day

I once lost a 2 week old Endura3. That was 4 years ago and it still pisses me off. I guess I really should get over it :o
 
Glad you've got enough steel, Fed, though it's really a sinking feeling when you lose a favorite knife.

But tell me, someone. What's a D4?

When I lost my Gerber AR 3.00- I knife I really like despite its low cost- I was sort of disheartened. Worse yet, I know pretty much where it is, and that solidifies the fact that it aint recoverable.

Hopefully you'll be able to replace it.
 
D4 = Delica 4

Yeah I'm waiting on a trade to go through for a Native. I always hear great things about them and a D4 is really hard to come by (at least by my experience trading) because everyone loves theirs. Right now I'm just carrying my Salt 1.

I know what y'all mean by that sinking feeling. I hate that; if I experienced it more than once in a year or so I don't know what I'd do. It's like losing a body part or something. :eek:
 
Fedaykincmndr, sorry to hear about the lost knife. Any time I lose an EDC item it drives me nuts looking for it.
A suggestion, you loved the Delica 4, and Spyderco recently upgraded that model to ZDP-189. I would get a new one with “better” steel (better edge holding, if you like to use your knives rough sometimes VG-10 is probably the better choice).
