Sad day, lost my favorite knife, a Thorburn

Check your car seat belt and between between seats. I have had my car safety belt snag a knife which then fell between the seat and console.

Somehow this knife escaped the million photo treatment, I actually can't find a single one on my phone. Probably because it killed my knife collecting hobby. But it's literally this specific knife: http://bladegallery.com/shopexd.asp?id=93504 .
Pretty confident at this point it isn't in my car, I searched it 3 times. The only thing I haven't done is physically take the driver's seat apart (I actually considered it, but found I could get my hand inside without taking it apart). Wherever it is, it's not there.

That is awful!! I am so very sorry!! I hope & pray that it will somehow turn up.

Just posted a CL lost and found, and put up notes around work the other day. Fingers crossed, but again, I don't have high hopes.

Glad that the OP is keeping things in perspective! Keep up the good view of life you'll get another favorite knife again soon I know it.

Not saying it's a perfect replacement. but this is the production version A2

I am sorry to hear your story. I have been there and it is devastating.

Andre van Heerden is a very close friend of mine and they are making knives for Blade Show now. If I can help feel free to email or PM me.

Hey Steven, shot you a PM.
I hate this for you.
This is why I can t carry one of my most expensive knives. All my highest priced knives sit in storage and get handled once and a while. Probably a waste of money for me to have them.
When I think I ve lost a knife in the past, I wait a few days and it always turns up.
Look inside your car again.

Shot you a profile page message, don't have Pm's right now. It may be easier for us to talk via email.

Good luck, man. May something of positive lasting value arise from these ashes.
