Well we have just said goodbye to the last of our relatives that have visited from the UK, seeing my little nephews cry was really upsetting !!!:(
These are some pics from our last morning together when I took them to the beach with my son !!!

The good news is that they are going to join BF when they get home, one of them bought their first knife over here ( a Victorinox SAK ) and he also has some other knives that I left them with when I emigrated from the UK !
That being said they will soon read this post and maybe be posting some pics of their own from the good old UK !!!!

At least you guys had lots of fun and I bet they'll never forget. BTW, is it true that knives are illegal in the UK? I thought I read that somewhere. If so, I think that sucks.

My understanding is that UK knife laws are based on 'need'. That is, you have to be doing something that necessitates the knife in order for you to be carrying it legally. Self-defense is not considered a valid activity. "Bushwacking" (British speak for 'camping' I believe), however, is sufficient grounds to be wandering around with a knife, hatchet or axe.

But understand that I don't live in the UK so I could well-be wrong about this.

Damn man you scared me. I thought you'd lost the dog...

Sorry they had to go, but at least y'all had a good visit.

Jeez bro if that had happened I would have been in no state to type....you know what I'm like with her !!!!

That rock statue thingy is pretty cool. Reminds me of the album cover from Rushs' Test for Echo album cover.

It is always tough to see family leave. I can't wait to see more of your and your nephew's pictures!

You are a cool uncle pitdog, and the memories instilled in your nephews will forever be in their hears and minds. All it takes is for someone to take and show them the outdoors and they will be hooked. I like how you share your interests and joys with all your family. IMHO there is nothing more important than family!

Ya it's always tough to have family leave, and it's worse when they are kids, but it sounds like everyone had a good time. These memories will last a lifetime.
