Sad Day....

Today is a sad day for me. Work was a bear and people all wanted things fixed before they had even told me what was broken. That is really not that different from normal, but thenI realized that I had somehow lost my Sebenza 21, that was the bummer. Do not know what happened or even an approximate time. I know I had it early in the morning, but I cannot pinpoint a time after ~9:00am where I "know" I had it.

Bright side, it was a plane model with a S30V blade, so it is one of the easiest to replace.

Man that sucks, I feel for you, Sure hope it shows up, There is nothing worst than loosing some like that. I would rather break it than loose it.

Thanks for the kind words. I am not sure it will turn up. I was stuck at my desk all day and really only left to go to lunch. I called the place where we had lunch w/out luck. I also checked with security in the building (figuring most people would turn it in as a weapon), no luck there either.

Here is where I think it gets funny. Based on reactions from people in the past one of 2 types of people will find it:
Knife People will think "OMG a Sebenza!!!".
Non-Knife People will think, "Ehhh must be a cheap knife. It does not even have a brand name."

If I get it back that is fantastic. I will be happy and relieved. If I never get it back, I hope whoever finds it enjoys it as much as I did while I owned it.

Its in your car, next to the driver's seat, way down low where the seat bolts to the floor.

+1 for "Its in your car, next to the driver's seat, way down low where the seat bolts to the floor."

Mine's ended up there before, once. Cell phone multiple times. It's a fricken narrow-object-magnet.

Also, check the ground near your parking space....?

I feel for ya, but that won't help bring it back.

Good luck, really.

Thanks again everyone. I am not giving up hope. I am sure that when (if) I find it, I will feel really dumb. It will be something alone the lines of:
"I know I looked there at least 3 times!"

It was just not the ending to the day that I needed after a day dealing with mad customers.

Once again looking on the bright side. I can replace it at the end of the month. Due to unusual timing I will have 2 infusions of "extra" cash this month.

Aw man, I would lose my mind. I really hope you find it bro. I know it's easily replaceable, and it's probably not even the money factor, but just losing a knife that you've carried for any amount of time is really tough. Best of luck finding it.

Ah, I hope it somehow returns to you. Just the other day my Seb fell out of my pocket. If I was walking around in the office instead of through the parking lot I'm sure I wouldn't have heard it. I bent the clip to strengthen the grip it has on my pocket as soon as I got home.

Wow, that really sucks. I was going to say think about when you found out you didn't have it, then look where you were between then and 9 that morning, but sounds like you pretty much did that. Maybe check around and under the seat of your car really thoroughly , it's very easy to miss stuff when looking under car seats. At least you can replace it soon if you don't find it.

I have only had my Sebenza for about a month and temporary lost it twice. I went into a total panic. Fortunately it showed up.

Don't give up yet Bro.

Ouch!

My house is full of knife-eating monsters.
my recliner,
my couch.

My car also has a hunger, between the seat and door, between the seat and console, even in the map pocket of the door.

good luck with your search. If it does not turn up before replacement, it almost certainly will turn up after you purchase a new one--and then you'll have two.
Not a terribly bad thing, as these things go. :D

Thats a very good point. Lost a knife about a year ago, a month later I lost another (both cheapies, a byrd and vic classic) a few months later I found them both in the same spot under my couch.

I pray that it will come up for you. I thought I lost mine for 2 weeks and it somehow was behind the TV !?!?!??

Good luck! :o
