Sad Day....

Say a prayer to St. Anthony bro. He's the patron saint of lost things (I'm sure that includes Seb's) Dont know if this is just an Irish thing but it aint gonna do any harm. ;)

+1 for "Its in your car, next to the driver's seat, way down low where the seat bolts to the floor."

Mine's ended up there before, once. Cell phone multiple times. It's a fricken narrow-object-magnet.

Also, check the ground near your parking space....?

I feel for ya, but that won't help bring it back.

Good luck, really.

Another +1. That's where I found mine when the clip got caught on the seatbelt.

So after sleeping on the problem, I have decided on the following course of action:
I will continue to look for the knife. If I do not find it by 11/20 I am going to call and put another on order. That means that I should find my lost knife about 11/24 (after the new knife is shipped, but before I receive it). That will give me the "What do I do with the new knife?" problem to solve. Which is not a bad problem to have IMO.

I say you should just order one today ;) :D.

That is too funny. I was walking back to the main building at work and thought the same thing. So I called CRK and spoke with Heather. Placed a Large 21 w/Double Silver Lugs, and a polished blade on order.

Ask the janitorial crew and the building manager if there is one. I'd maybe post a flyer with a picture, offer a $100 reward. That would get someone to turn it in and you'd be $285 richer at the end of the month. Good luck.

oops, didn't see the 2nd page..... I'd still do the flyer, maybe drop the reward since you already ordered a new one. I once found a very expensive ink pen in my office building and tried hard to find the owner but they never came forward. I really wanted to get it back to it's person. Somebody in your place may be feeling the same way.

Got the call today my replacement knife is shipping tomorrow. This means I will find the lost knife sometime between now and when the replacement shows up!

The model may be easy to replace, but I am sure it would be nice to have that knife back. I'm sure there are some good memories from it's use. Hopefully, you will still find it and then, worst case scenario, you'll have two of them. That's a problem many would envy.

I feel your pain my friend. I hope you find your lost 21 soon. My suggestion would be to keep searching for the 21 even after your replacement has arrived. Good luck, and my prayer goes to you.

And in case you don't find it, I guess I must redirect my prayer towards the 21. I pray that she'll find a good home, and will be well cared for :D

I would post lost and found posters, say it has sentimental value and would like it back. I am sure it will turn up!

If it makes you feel any better, I had a custom large Sebenza decorated by Lisa disappear never to be seen again. I still think about that knife. The design was so cool I stared at it for weeks before pulling the trigger on Plaza Cutlery's website, only to have it disappear in the final mile. Only good news was UPS paid the claim.
