Sad news

I am really sorry to hear that.
Bub was a great guy and I aways would find some time for some conversation at his table during shows.
Even though we were not close friends, it will be sad to attend the next Blade Show anbd not find him there.
 
I liked Bub. We shared some good times. May Heaven's anvil ring loudly. He is good company.
 
Well said Jerry. Thanks to you all for the rememberances. I am sure he is in heaven and they must be running out of steel!
 
I did not know the man. However, I would like to give my condolences. I wish the family well.
 
Just talked to Bub's brother, who is last surviving member of the family, and he told me to tell you all thanks for your condolences. I read your messages to him over the phone and it made him get misty eyed. Hard thing was he sounds like Bub when you talk to him on the phone :(

Bub and I were not friends for very long we met at last years Badger Knife show and anyone who new him can tell you that it took all of about 15 minutes to know that i made a friend for life. Bub and I kept in touch after that and we became very good friends and worked on a couple of projects together he introduced to me to some very fine people. At the Blade Show in Atlanta before we went to dinner i remember him saying
"How can it get any better than this good friends, good food and knife talk" at that i threw my arm around his shoulder and told him "Your a Good Man Bub Worrell and an even better Friend".
Everyone should keep in mind that when Bub injured his shoulder and arm he was helping someone out doing a good deed.
WELL BUB OLD FRIEND I WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH, BUT EVEN GOD NEEDS A GOOD TACTICAL KNIFE OR TWO SO YOU DO US PROUD AND BUB KEEP THE FORGE HOT FOR US..I know I have a Guardian Angel up there for sure now..
Today is a very sad day for me.
