Here's my new PTACBT.
I'm happy as hell to have this model back in my pocket. Razor sharp right out of the box. The black coating is still growing on me however. I'm sure it'll be an extension of me real soon. Lastly, the only downside I would consider this tool has is the sketchy "EMRSON" print job. By all means, I'm not one of those dudes who cries about a scratch or two, or some other minor aesthetic, quality but I would definitely presume that a limited edition knife of this caliber and price would have caught the imperfection. I'm just putting this out there in case anyone is still attempting to grab one of these limited runs from a second hand source. As long as it get the job done, I really don't mind.

I just picked up a Persian from Arizona Custom Knives. They are a very large online secondary market-maker for production and custom knives.
They update their website everyday at 3:30pm or thereabouts with the new listings. I check the site every day, and the Persian showed up yesterday. Had to jump it immediately.
They show previous knives sold as well and I count no less than 5 Persians sold in the last year. They get tons of Emerson custom blades and they all sell.
So check out the site and check back everyday at 3:30 - good luck.
If Emerson did another run of Persians in S35VN they would sell out in no time.
