Dark Coffee Brown. It has scuffs in the leather that are typical to these bags when they get carried. Only one is somewhat ugly, and it is on the back (you can see it clearly in the pic) and not deep... just long. The leather is getting nicely broken in and soft, so it is much more comfortable to carry than it was new when it was very stiff. It's got some good character going. I removed one of the shoulder pads right when I got it, that pad is really just for backpack carry and I didn't use that.
I have conditioned it with Chamerlain's twice a year since I've owned it (as recommended by Saddleback). Edit: I just went ahead and reconditioned it. Now I'm debating pulling this ad and keeping it... ><
