I'm selling my Saddleback Leather messenger bag. I love Saddleback gear and carry one of their wallets every day and just gave one to my father for Christmas. I don't use this any longer and rather than have it sit around, I thought I'd pass it on. Their gear is way overbuilt. It's not gear with every stitch perfect or all Mr. Fancy Pants. It's stuff that you can beat to hell and back that will thrive and look better after the trip.
Points of note: Looking at the Saddleback web page, it appears they now add some removable middle divider to the bag. Mine was made before they added that feature. Also, it appears they moved the location of the logo. Mine has it under the main flap, the new ones appear to have it on the front buckle strap. It has the strap that converts the pack from a messenger to a backpack format. It's a really spiffy bag and you should check out their website for a good look at it.
The bag is the chestnut color. However, there some sun shading on the back. You can see this in one of the below photos. When I wasn't using the bag much, it sat in my car for ages and the sun changed the color on part of the back. You can see where the strap was sitting across the back so there a difference in color. I have not made any efforts to address this. I don't know if just adding a bit of saddle soap or Lexol would fix it or not. Hell, if I was keeping the bag I'd just leave it out in the sun to have it even out. In any case, it's there, you can see it and decide for yourself.
New, this will run you just under $400 shipped from Saddleback. I'll ship mine to you, USA only, for a flat $240. (I figure that's $225 for the bag and $15 shipping.) PM me with any questions.
