Very nice knife. I was lucky enough to purchase a Tison single blade Trapper a while back. These are very high quality custom knives. Someone will be most happy with the purchase.

Nice grab!

Although I am a firm believer in more traditional materials for scales on traditional knives I think carbon fiber is the exception. Like linen micarta, carbon fiber gives a nice patterned look, is durable, and is modern by design even though micarta was made in the early 20th and CF in the 60s.

I would love to see more traditional patterns in CF, especially bigger single bladed folders like the Remington 1303/1306 and larger cokebottles. Would LOVE to see a shadow pattern in CF.

Carbon fiber is a geat handle material. Easy to work, durable, functional and extremely strong. I will continue to put it on traditional patterns as long as there is an interest. Thanks for the comments everyone. Mr. Thomason, I will be sending you an e-mail. This knife has now considered sold.

I agree w/Sierra. I like ivory micarta, esp. down in the low humidity of Vegas, where it doesn't crack. And I'm likin' cf more and more every time I see it. Good work Mr. Tison.

Mike

Thanks Mike, I like micarta myself. As you stated, the weather doesn't affect it and I personally like the look.

Mike,
I saw your stag sowbelly in Knife Ill. Just a beautiful piece.

It was made by Mike, but now it is MINE, all Mine, it does walk and talk. I hear it calling me every time I pass my display. "Pick me Up, Pick me Up" "Why don't you carry me?" But I resist, it is too nice to mess up. :D

Mike, keep turning them out and I may be able to get another.

Jim
