I am saddened to hear to massive loss of one of America's greats!
Being in New Zealand I of course never had the chance to meet this special man, but I have only read very good things about him, my condolences to the Buck Family, you must be very proud to have such a good man in your family and Company.
All my thoughts and best wishes to the Buck Family.
Condolences to the Buck family & friends. Never had the chance to meet him, but he did answer a question or two for me via emails/pms. Definitely showed a lot of character on his part taking time to help me out.
The first knife I ever bought for myself was a Buck 110, back in 1973. At least 1 Buck, usually 2, of some sort has been in my pocket every day since, except when legally precluded from carrying.
Prayers for Mr Buck and the BUCK family. I think Chuck Buck lived his life preaching the Gospel every day, only using words when necessary. A man that did not use people and worship money but used money and worshiped people. Rare in these times, especially in his position. RIP
Please accept my sincerest condolences to the family. May he rest in peace. A truly great man and legend in the knife industry, you will be missed greatly.
In our tradition, that when a person passes one of the questions they are asked are; if they traded with honesty and integrity.
We here, by looking at the quality knives he produced and the pleasure we get by using them
We bear witness that yes Chuck Buck traded with honesty and integrity.
