I've got a hinderer wharncliffe 3" xm-18 coming in this week, and it's been a long time since I owned a flipper. I was thinking that tip up right front pocket with the blade against the seam of my pocket would be safest (other than belt pouch). Any other suggestions?

You can also carry tip down in your back right pocket. Very safe as well. Not only will the knife be safe against opening, but it'll be tucked against the seam of your pocket. Double win.

Im a front tip up guy all the way. Can not imagine doing it another way at this point. Just me though.

That's the only way I carry a folder.

Tip up, front right pocket.....love the 3" wharnie.....that and the 3.5" wharnie are all I seem to carry anymore.

Right front pocket, tip up against the seem or its a no go. So many knives I would love if they were tip up.
