Sage 2 Pictures

If I recall correctly, I may have just barely chamfered the sharp edge of the Spydie hole on this one with a rat tail file. The hole was pretty sharp.

Great pictures. I love my Sage 1 and the titanium scales on the Sage 2 look great. Enjoy the knife!

I bought Sage 2 on a whim and it's turned out to be one of my top five favorite folders and that includes several over $400. I don't know if I just happened to get a very good sample but the fit and finish on mine is just perfect (no matter how closely you look) and it makes a terrific EDC.

Hi SpinDoctor,

Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Nice pics. Glad you like the piece.

My sage2 had about 40-50% lockup when brand new, after literally thousands of opening/closings using mostly the middle finger flick mine has settled in nicely at around 60% lockup and has not moved since. My lock was a bit sticky for the first week or so but a little pencil lead on the lock face solved that almost instantly and it has been perfect ever since. Like I said before, I stonewashed the blade and hardware and in the stone washing process I must have removes any tiny burrs around the pivot because she came out considerably smoother after the stone washing.

I used a pencil on mine and the stickiness is gone. Thanks for the tip!
