Selling my one of a kind Sage Blades Wrench Knife, by Dylan Farnham. If your not familiar with his work, I encourage you to check out his website. Dylan is mostly making straight razors now, it seems, and is no longer taking orders for knives and, according to him, will not be able to resume "anytime in the near future". Dylan is an artist whom also knows his metallurgy and makes an incredibly sharp blade. His story is worth reading about.
On to this knife, it was forged from a chrome valadium, one inch wrench into this knife you see in the picture. The blade is approximately 10.25 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. OAL 15.75. It is surprisingly light in the hand. Dylan wrapped the handle for me in elk skin, the leg straps are elk skin as well. The sheath is made entirely by Dylan, as well.
Here's what's impressive. Since Dylan makes straight razors (that start at $700) he is VERY good at sharpening knives. This blade will pass the "hanging hair test". If you don't know this test is look it up on youtube, it's pretty impressive. How he did this with a 10 inch blade that is 3/16 thick and convex ground is beyond me. When slicing paper, instead of running the knife along paper, you can hold the knife blade up toward the ceiling and press the paper down on the blade, cutting it cleanly in half. Try that at home with your knives.
He assures me it's a work horse, the knife was made 4 years ago. Before he put it up for sale he said he chopped several 2X4s in half with it and it still shaved his arm. Of coarse he rehoned and stropped it for me before selling and now this knife is face shaving sharp! If sharpness gets you off, this is the knife for you!
$600 paypal, conus only, I'll pay fees and shipping. Feel free to ask questions via PM.
First to call it AND pay wins this knife. Prompt payment is appreciated, price is negotiable, shoot me an offer. Will consider some trades like Busses and other fixed blades of similar value.
I realize I only have 1 feedback score and am a newer member, however I have done sales with several folks, mostly in the Fiddleback Forum, but they have not left feedback. I sell on ebay under the same user name as well with 100% feedback score.
