Sage: My on again, off again relationship

What I can't understand is how you could have parted with them in the first place. I LOVE my sages and eagerly await the Sage 5

Three of four have arrived! Just waiting on the Sage 2. The quality of these knives impresses me every time, especially for the price. Pics (and maybe a review) when the fourth arrives!

You just bought the whole line?

Now my sage 1 may need a sage 2 to keep it company.

I always though it might be cool to switch the ti and carbon fiber scales. Then carry both of them.

I don't understand either!

Yep!

I've done this the last two times I owned both the 1 and 2. Definitely prefer the CF front scale with the framelock. This time I think I am going to keep them all stock though.

Sage and I are currently on! It's love all over again.

Better pics are sorely needed, but this is the best I could do on a dreary late afternoon.

The Chaparral has replaced the Sage 1 in my pocket, but I do carry the Sage 2 and 4 often. Could never warm up to the Sage 3, however.

In doing so, is there anything about the Sage-1 you miss? I'm the opposite. I currently own a Chaparral and wonder if I'd really be gaining anything by acquiring a Sage-1. I understand the Sage-1 will fill my hand more and will have a thicker blade stock, but I don't think the blade is any longer or if it is, not my much.

Big axis lock fan but the old G10 Sage 3 is my favorite spyderco. I made the mistake of posting mine for sale one day, got a few offers, one serious, after thinking about it I pretty much told the guy to screw off lol.

I know I'm late here, but I figured a few more pics wouldn't hurt. I think the sage 2 is the perfect edc knife, for me, of course. Sometimes I carry a larger or thicker handled knife if I know I will be needing extra blade legnth or comfort. However, when I am leaving my apartment in a hurry and grab a knife, the sage 2 gets pocketed 90 percent of the time just because of how slim it carries (I love the wire clip and with the ti handle it is not noticeable even in thin pants or shorts) and because it has a very useful grind and size. I have yet to find a task it can't handle. I do want a 1 or 3 next, or both..

for comparison, the Benchmade next to it is a 4.3 inch blade to the sage 2 at 3 inches (9.63 in vs 7.125 OAL). and something like 3x heavier..
