Sage Pocket Clip: How Durable is it?

As someone may have pointed out, the deep and high ride versions of this wire clip are interchangeable, so you can set up the clip to suit your needs. Spares of both flavor are available from SFO.

I'm of the opinion that the Spyderco 4 position wire clip is the best design for any folder. Doesn't look like a knife, carries deep, wont shred pockets, and its less prone to snagging. Perfect design function imho.

J_Curd speaketh the truth in his wise words above. I, too, think the Spydeco wire clip is the best knife clip on the market. The more my knife clip can look like a pen in my pocket the happier I am. Which is just another reason that if the Sage 2 had a 3.5 inch blade it would be the greatest folding knife in the history of mankind.

Let's make a "stretched" Sage with the same core elements of the Sage 2, no added width, and integrate the wave instead of a hole. ;)

My Sage II is sexy except for this fricken ziptie :p

I like the spydercos wire clips. I have a UK pen knife that has held up very well, maybe even better then the full metal clips on other Spydies that I have, Wire clips dont get scratched up as much or show wear as bad as the full clips. They are also less likely to snag on stuff then the full clips. The sage is a great knife, though the sage 2 is my favorite.
