SAK blade hitting frame.

I recently noticed that the tip of the blade on my two month old Vic Recruit was looking a little ragged. Upon further inspection, I saw that it is making contact with the knife's frame when closed. Has anoyone else had an issue like this with their SAK?

That kind of problem does happen, but it's fairly unusual. You can send it to Victorinox and they will fix it promptly under warranty.

I seem to notice that on all of my 91mm Vic knives. This only happens if I let the main blade snap shut with full force. Now I just pinch close it. It's a minor pain, but so is losing that sharp point.

This happens on my 04 soldier but now that ive sharpened it a coulple of times its not a problem so much .and try not to let the blade slam shut .
