SAK can opener?

I still carry my father's P38 in my wallet. It's probably about 50 or so as well. He fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam so I'm sure it came from one of those. I have his US Camillus multi purpose knife as well. I've used the P38, and the can openers on the Leatherman, Wenger SAKs, Victorinox SAKs, and the Camillus. They all work about the same to me even though each one is slightly different. If I had to pick one though, it would be the Camillus. It's the largest of the bunch and gets the job done a bit quicker. Close second would be the Vic, Leatherman, and Wenger. Last would be the P38, only because my old hands are not so good for holding the tiny lil bugger anymore.

Somebody mention Victorinox Can Openers? Well, not exactly pocketable but you sure can't beat it in the kitchen!!!

I've been using the can opener more and more and getting better with it. Still not leaving the P-38 at home yet. Lol

I also hate the SAK style, I'm planning on having a pare of scissors added to my farmer
and would change out the SAK for a wenger style if i could find one ..

anyone know where I can get one ????? I'd hate to scrap a whole
knife just for a can opener.. but I may have to ..

I agree, the Wenger can opener is much better designed and functional than the Vics. I keep an old Utica (?) with can opener
like Wenger's in my kitchen tool drawer.
