SAK choices

You could get a Vic Alox Cadet II. All the tools of the 84mm Vic Recruit except even slimmer.
Large blade/small blade/canopener/bottle opener.
The regular Cadet is almost the same except it has a nail file instead of the small blade.
Nowadays I have 50-ish Saks but for years my Vic Recruit was my only EDC.
Its probably seen the most use of all my pocket knives.
It i was going to limit it to just a Multi-tool and one slip-joint i'd probably choose a good stockman instead of a SAK!
And thats coming from a confirmed SAK-aholic! (But then i do like to whittle).
Seems like you have the tool section covered with the multi-tool, the Stockman would give you more cutting versatility.
Granted i stopped carrying multi's and switched back to 3 or 4 layer SAKs for EDC.
A Vic Huntsman or Compact+Farmer are what i carry now. Occasionally supplemented by a Gerber Clutch and/or Schrade Stockman.
And if i get the "one knife only" urge i choose my SwissChamp over my multi-tools.

I recently bought the SAK Trekker with the locking knife. I chose not to go with the new one-hand openers simply becuase I wanted the traditional look and feel of an original SAK. Here's a photo I took Tactical Knives style. Enjoy.
