Okay. Here is a SAK Farmer formed and button sheath. Please give feedback!

Here is the front - that is a line 24 snap - a larger one... and the color is Brown. It has been finished with Eco-flo on the inside and a wax compound on the outside. I was going for a rustic look.

Here is the back. You can see that the belt portion is double stitched at the top and doubled at the top of the U portion at the bottom. It can accommodate up to a 1.5 inch belt.

The inside - I cut away the thumb portion not only to grab on to the knife - but to show off the shield.

The leather is folded to add strength and give room for the belt.

Here is how it wears on the belt:

Price point: 30 dollars shipped.

What do you think about the sheath? Anything you would change? Is the price point right? Would you buy one? Anything to add?

I am also looking at making a Pancake sheath... perhaps one that holds a firesteel.

It is tough Barber. If I stitch it any higher - it seems high on the flap. I can kick it up maybe a 1/4 inch if the feedback says I should.

It was very comfortable on the belt... no rubbing when I sat and wore it.

Very nice work!
I love the look of leather but the only belt sheath i regularly use is my old SOG Tomcat nylon sheath. it carries SOG Tomcat,Buck 110/112/111,Spyderco Tenacious/ Victorinox Spirit etc very comfortably.
It can be worn vertical or horizontal, i usually wear it horizontal.
Now your sheath with a horizontal option would be very cool!

I think it's a nice looking sheath, you done good.....again:thumbup: Personally, I don't carry the Farmer in a sheath, just fine in the pocket for me. You might want to start thinking about a makers stamp. Seems like you'll be turning out some serious numbers soon:)

That's very nice...I might be contacting you soon... also something I always thought would be cool for people that like to carry slipjoints (saks etc) would be an open top slip case with a pocket clip.. Great work man you have a natural talent.

I like the looks of it. Nothing I would really change on it, as it looks like a comfortable design to wear. Great work

I bought one just like that about 30 years ago.
The differences is the that the top flap is narrower, the color is a light tan and the belt look is held on with two rivets.

Looks really good...since your VERY FIRST one that took you over 20 hours to produce, you've been turning them out about once a day.....do you not get any sleep??

If you made one in black I would buy it. I also think a smaller snap would look better. I like it though and I think the price is fine.

I like it. I think a brass snap would compliment the rustic look better or even one of those retention knobs that some bowie sheaths have. Also, great idea to use an underwear waistband as a belt! :p

Jeez TF, you look like youve been workin leather for a loooong time!! Nice job buddy.

Great price as well!!!
