Does anybody know why the Special Edition SAK Alox Farmer (in silver) sells for less than the regular version on Amazon? Is it the exact same knife quality wise or is there something cheaper about it?
My guess is that the only difference is the packaging and they are probably discounting it because they are almost out of stock on the "special edition," cannot ofer a full color selection any more and are closing out the product (as a special edition only). It looks like a raging good deal at $16 and I would grab one if I needed one.
They are great pocketknives, but once and a while I pick up my silver alox Pioneer or red Farmer just to play with and admire. Aren't they the pretty little things, though?
