Easy question SAK Huntsman with a Leatherman Wave and a Sipik sk98 using an 18650 or a Sipik sk68 using a AA or a 14500. My travel suitcases and bags that are checked have these.

I like the triad of knife, flashlight, multi-tool. With the SAK acting as the multi-tool and having a small knife, it makes sense to choose a medium or large folder depending on mood, situation, personal style, etc.

Today I happened to carry a Harnds Talisman, an L11C from L3 Illumination, and a Leatherman Squirt. Swapping the Squirt for a smaller SAK wouldn't change the other items but I'd miss having pliers.

Billy, tell me more about that clip + split ring on the Alox Pioneer... seems like the ticket to EDC a SAK without fear of loosing it while sitting down....

That's a P7 Suspension Clip. It works perfectly! The SAK lays flat and out of the way.

I used to carry my Leatherman Rebar in this way, too. Awesome little clip!

My normal work carry is a Spyderco Military, Leatherman Surge, Vic Explorer Plus and a Streamlight Microstream. It seems to suit my needs fairly well, but I'm always willing to experiment with it.
