SAK, how about with a pocket clip ?

why don't they make a SAK with a pocket clip so i don't have to use a sheath for the mid-sized ones ? you have to have the saw and scissors..

I added the pocket clip from my stiff kiss hardware to one of the larger, locking victorinox sak's. It worked great!

i have a mid sized one but it came with a funky leather sheath and flashlight and plastic compass tool, it's to heavy/bulky to carry in the pocket loose, but a clip would stabilize it...i was just thinking last night that my CRKT MDP clip would be just right, any problems with drilling or cracking of the handle material ??

why didn't swiss army think of this, it'll come out next month right.

I've also always thought an SAK could use a clip, so when I recently spent a week near Nürnberg in the workshop of my friend and fellow knifemaker Peter Herbst http://www.messerherbst.de/ learning from him how to make folders, we put red SAK-like grips on one of them. People see it and think it's a new SAK design... not likely. Anyway, I bet SAK would do well with at least one clip equiped model.
