SAK in Alox???

That's not how I did it. I sent him an email describing what I wanted and he sent me back an itemized list of what each tool would cost. I approved it and he got to work. He is a great guy to deal with. He's very professional and easy to communicate with.

That's the first chit I lose anyway!

I don't think I have ever in my life had the toothpick/tweezers stay in the handle more than a couple weeks. At the longest.
 
I never had a problem losing the Vic tweezers....I had a problem gripping things with them. I think their tweezers suck so I've a Bill's Sliver Gripper on my keys for years and use that. The toothpick is marginally useful but I prefer to use the wooden ones I carry in my pack.

Did you have to send him a knife and just pay for the parts separate, or did you contact him with an order and he supplied the knife and all parts and you then paid for it?

He provided everything after I told him what I wanted. I believe you can send him a "parts knife" if you want, but I'm not 100% sure.

Is 91mm the blade length? When I measure the blade it's only like 71mm! What does Victorinox measure to come up with 91mm?

A darker shade of green (Forrest Green) in Alox was an exclusive for Target. But yeah, much of the time you can find different Alox colored handles which aren't exclusives.
 


Mine came yesterday. Won't get used much 'til the weather cools down and I get some hiking in, but totally dig the color.
