SAK in Space

I'd heard the shuttle astronauts carried swiss army knives, so I checked and sure enough . .

But which one? Is it issued or more a personal choice type of thing?

Of all the knives available to a astronaut, a SAK sounds pretty reasonable.

Plenty of McGuyver power for when the russian components show their age.

Multi-Tools are good, and one of those links speak to Leatherman's in space.

But, I would say that a multi-tool, to a large extent, is simply a mutation of a SAK.
