Hi all, I was just wondering, because I always assumed it was stamped, then as I started to learn how to sharpen my knives I noticed it gets almost factory sharp with a few strokes on a ceramic hone. I have only seen forged blades do that.

Does anyone know?

I read in a knife magazine years ago, maybe five, that Victorinox does drop forge the blades, while Wenger used a rolling prosses. I too have noticed that it is very fast and easy to get my sak soldier scary sharp. It's a Vic.

Interesting.. How does that make a difference in the ability to edge?
Technical answers welcome

:p
