Sak passaround time!

Well, I have to say, I really like this knife. My mod was to add a lanyard to it and I think it turned out great.

Here are some pics:

I loved the combination of tools, kind of reminded me of my swisschamp, only less stuff.

Thanks Joe for the great opportunity to play with this one.

Great lanyard Brett. Reminds me of the ones on my Chris Reeves, ( you know how I much I like my CRKs!) Hope you liked it! Do you have the next members info?

Hey Joe, actually you gave away my secret...:o:o
I learned to tie a lanyard from my sebenza.

I loved the knife man!!! I don't have the next person's info. Please send it when you get a chance.
Take care man!

I just got this in the mail. I will spend a few days with it and post.
Thanks, Mike

I didn't so much change anything, but I did add a DMT pocket sharpener and a extremely small firesteel.
Thanks for including me, and it will go out to Bearthedog next.

Victorinox Huntsman
Victorinox is known as “The Original Swiss Army Knife”. Founded in 1884 Victorinox has a reputation as being the most well know knife in the world…and space? Yes, space. NASA astronauts use them as standard equipment. In 1909 Karl Elsener made the cross in a shield the official emblem we all have come to know. It represent quality and owning one is compared to having a membership to an exclusive club for real knife users, at least that’s how I feel.

The Victorinox Huntsman arrived in a leather pouch accompanied by a sharpening stone and fire steel. The Huntsman is a 91 mm (3 ½-inch) four layer knife. It contains two blades, one small and one large. This four layer Huntsman also has a bottle opener, can opener, large flat screwdriver, smaller flat screwdriver (used for phillips screws), a parcel hook, wood saw, awl, corkscrew, key ring (for lanyards), toothpick, tweezers, and the most usefull tool, scissors.

The most useful tools

Fuzz sticks were easy and fun with this thin little blade. I never liked how the corkscrew feels after about two minutes against my palm while whittling.

The use of an Awl in the wilderness is legendary. When it comes to drilling holes in wood and bone the Awl is better than using your blade tip.

The wood saw is always fun to use. It really works fast on small branches hanging over the trail. I have used it on trap notches a few times.

The Huntsman is not as big as I thought it would be which, was a great surprise.

This knife is very city friendly, and bush worthy. Maybe my next SAK?
