Does it really work? I've had one that had no clip that I ruined by lightening the backspring. (it broke after use)
Thinking of getting one with a clip and leaving the backspring alone.

I think I'll go with plain blade as the serrated is not pointy.

Anyone have experience with their clip? Is it durable for lasting use?

The clip works but it has a kind of flimsy feel to it that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. I can see it bending out of shape fairly easily if it ever gets snagged on something. Knife rides about as low as a Delica in the pocket. I keep my Sentinel clipped inside my EDC backpack, and I feel it is adequate for that kind of carry.

Personally, I like the serrations on mine. Makes a nice folding steak-knife.

Edit: Overall, I'm not very impressed with the Sentinel. It's a bit sloppy on the lock-up (up and down play,) the liner-lock feels backwards to me, and there are better knives for the money, imo. I can see it being replaced in the near future...

Yeah that's what I am concerned about. My old serrated one was sloppy up and down, but y'know what?
I carry a Delica and it is sharpened correctly and will cut most anything except it just does NOT cut well compared to ANY of my SAKs.
What DOES cut well is my Fallkniven U-2 but I'm looking for a fast cutting one hander.
154CM seems to hold that quick cutting edge, but boy it's tough to find more CUT "for the money" than that silly SAK steel.
I have an Alpineer that I use for opening MAIL and it just never quits.
The VG-10 of the Delica holds an edge but not as long.

My sharpening mystery.
;)
