hello everyone!

thank you for the nice comments&feedback for that idea.

was mad soon after i get my soldier sak on the first day on military service here on swiss. blade wont cut for long.

then i switch to the lighter sak and they where not cutting better but easy to carry but are somwhat flexible.

as time goes by i work on knives for 10 years now and have make one of my dreamy real, a couple of my own brand sak +Bianco with ats34 blades and damasteel swedish damascus pattern. now for christmas 2005 i planning to do some soldier and same knife with saw with the features mentioned above and get a verry good feedback. if it will be only 20 pcs that will give war we say here :)

i will make 3 proto, diffrent ones, with/without ti clip / kydexsheath etc etc and post pics&prices. then anybody is free to ask for more and i can figure out the number needed. but wont make 100s of em, it should be get a knife for the lover, collector and user allike that now the diffrence.

have to hurry up, im on my way to the blade show, swissbianco table there and i have yesterday finished some nice titanium scaled sak classic with colorful anodising.

sharp regards from switzerland

Wow. You really do have some nice stuff. Tell us more about those tactical folders like the one I'm posting. I like your skeletonized fixed blades too. What kind of steel do you use? What are these blade thicknesses?

I like the idea of better steel, but I'll pass. Considering the kinds of hell I put an edge through, I'd sharpen S30V to nothing in a few months at work.

thanks everyone!

im on usa now, fernandia beach FL and planning my further work and relax a bit.

the ti clip of the swiss super soldier will be not only screwed on to the alu as usuable but it will have a milled pocket that is inlay with a ti plate wher the screws 100% hold. the plate is spl bonded to the alu too.

good news from the grinding company, they have agree to make 3 pcs of s30v blades for quote etc that allow me to make 3 diffrent versions as proto to pic and test and get final price.

this has to work out soon as im back on swiss. paul bos and CPM helps for sure.

point is it will be either a collector pcs or a user for people that understand how the quality of s30v stands for.

the only problem so fare is to find the hollow rivet as victorinox dont has them anymore...

regarding my othr knives, im sorry for still not update my website but that will come soon and on www.fehlscharfe.de you get the infos...

always to mutch to do and to litte money

sharp greetings from usa

roger

Put me down for one as well.

On a different note(although, slightly related), I'm still waiting for somebody to make a multitool with a real knife blade. S30V would be nice, ya know?

The soldier has been a favorite of mine for a while. I hope to see this develop.

Awesome!!!

If the price is reasonable I'll buy three (one for myself and one for each of my brothers).

Allen.

I'd love damasteel unless it was waaaay more money than s30v (even better would be on a SAK tinker!)

Screw that. I want a SAK with extra tools and NO blades because I always carry a SAK in additonal to a GOOD folder. ;)

I turned a SOG Powerlock into that very thing with a quick call to their customer service and about $20. :)

.

Screw that. I want one of your posts with extra blank spaces and NO words because I alwase read your posts in addition to GOOD ones. ;)

Just kidding buddy. :D
