SAK Steel?

Hey does anybody know what kind of steel Victorinox uses in their Swiss Army Knives? ive always wondered this question becuse ive had stainless steels from other makers rust but never had a Victorinox rust what so ever. Thanks for the responses.,,,VWB.

According to older threads, it's 425M steel, which is in the 440A-12C27-AUS6A-420HC class of steels. It's closest approximate is probably Buck's 420HC.
