Found an extra clip from an old CRKT

These were the only things I could think of to make this great knife a little more handy.

Cool little mod , I love to see folks make thier knives more user friendly.

Chef--how did you attach the clip?

I just set the marks with a punch and drilled through the plastic portion. Tapped the screws then set them with gorilla glue using a piece of friction tape as a spacer.

We'll see how it holds up long term seems to be brickhouse tough though.

One of the things I like about the OHT is its lefty-friendliness. The liner lock on the main blade is actually set up to prefer a lefty--or so it seems to me. I usually avoid liner locks, as most are set up for righties, and they don't always inspire confidence. But I gave the OHT a whirl because I heard about its sinister quality. I tried the notorious spine whack, and lo and behold, it passed just fine.

I also like the serrations being found near the tip, rather than the rear of the blade.

A handy knife it is, and ends up on my belt whenever I boldly go trekking.

They do have a backspring, but a very weak one. Sufficient to hold the blade closed, but not good enough to hold the blade open reliably should the liner lock somehow not engage.

True, but it gets everything I have asked of it and punched holes then cut through an 35x12.5x15 mudder I had laying around in the back. Thats my highly unscientific break in for most knives.
