SAK: Which tool gets the most use?

probably the flathead screwdriver/bottle opener tool. Use it for light prying and to open bottles.

The tools on my Explorer plus which get the most use are the phillips, flat screwdriver and magnifier. I like how the phillips folds out 180 degrees, which makes it much more useful than those which fold out 90 degrees from the back.

Toothpick and scissors for me. I also seem to use my tweezers alot but not for splinters - they make great mini-pliers.

On my Executive:
Toothpick, nail file, scissors, tweezers.

On my old-style Soldier:
Awl (for scraping that waxy coating off of apples).
Large screwdriver/bottle opener (for opening glued boxes, like cereal boxes).

For me, definitely the scissors for everything from clipping newspaper articles to trimming horse manes.

For decades, I carried SAKs exclusively, then for the last few years switched to Leathermen for primary EDC because of the pliers. The only SAK I use regularly anymore is a Rambler. Although I don't keep careful track, my impression is that all the implements except the tweezer get used about equally. In fact, the Rambler gets more of a workout these days than my Charge TTi. At bottom, however, when needed there is no substitute for pliers, and those require size.

1) scissors 2)large or small flathead screwdrivers 3)can opener 4)tweezers.

Only once used the "parcel hook" to fish out keys trapped in someone's trunk.

I forgot to mention, one of the tools on my Executive that gets a lot of use is the smaller pen blade. That tiny blade is great for precision work where you don't want to mess something up.

I probably use the combo tool the most, as a flathead driver or light pry work. After that is the saw. I use mine at least a few times a week and was a bit surprised no one else chose it.
